Saturday breakfast, toast and a soft-boiled egg from the truffle jar. The truffle taste was all delightfully there.
For perfect soft-boiled eggs, truffled or not, on an electric stove: put the eggs in a pot with half a centimeter of water. Put the lid on and turn the heat on high. Turn the heat off as soon as the water boils and leave the eggs in the covered pot for precisely 5 minutes. Cool them off for a minute in cold water. Adjust the time and amount of water if you're boiling more than 5-6 eggs.
